Robert Smith
Co-Owner - Vice President
Graduate Gemologist Appraiser - Bob has been included in all aspects of the business for 30 years. Bob graduated from Ohio State and the Gemological Institute Resident Program. Bob is a member of the Ross County United Way Board of Trustees and President of the Ohio Jewelers Education Foundation.

Heather Cartee
Heather started in sales over 15 years ago. She now serves as our inventory and accounting manager. She is responsible for bringing in all new merchandise and our in store financials. Heather is an invaluable member of our staff who is mostly behind the scene. Heather is a very active member of The First Church of the Nazarene as well as serving on their board.

Kim Harter
Kim started in our Circleville store 9 years ago. She served as Assistant Manager until that store closed. She moved to our Chillicothe store and is our Store Manager and Repair Shop Manager. Kim has attained several credentials to her name, including Accredited Jewelry Sales Associate and Diamond Certificate from the Gemological Institute of America. Kim also won first place in the Ohio Retail Jewelers Design Contest in 2006 and second place in 2007. Kim is a member of the Circleville Sunrise Rotary Club.

Heather Bower
Heather returned to our company in May 2006 after a very successful career in sales with Xerox. She currently serves as our Sales Manager and works in all capacities with our sales associates. She is also very active in serving our customers. Heather serves on the Membership Committee for the Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce as well as an active member of St. Mary's Church.

Mike Diemer
Mike is our Jeweler - Goldsmith responsible for all of our in store jewelry repairs. He is proficient both with a jeweler's torch and with our state of the art Laser Welder. He has been with us for 9 years.

Melissa Huggins
Melissa started in our gift shop 13 years ago. She has experience in many areas, from jewelry repair to sales. She currently serves as our Corporate Sales Coordinator as well as customer sales. She is also in charge of maintaining our website and is very talented in jewelry custom design. Melissa recently received her certificate from the Gemological Institute of America in Diamonds and Diamond Grading. Melissa is a member of the Chillicothe Junior Civic League.

Tina Downing
Tina is one of those pleasant voices that frequently answers your phone calls.She currently has a large array of duties, mostly behind the scenes. She assists Heather in inventory management and book keeping. She keeps our computer network up and running, does most of the mailing and helps with sales and many other tasks. Tina has been with us for 8 years and does a terrific job.

Mandy Ackley
Mandy started as a customer service associate 8 years ago. Three years ago she moved into a role as a full time sales associate. Over the last two years she has been our top sales associate. Our customers love Mandy because of her gentle and kind personality.

Pam Poyet
Pam started in our gift shop 6 years ago. After working full time for many years, Pam is one of our part time sales associates. One of Pam's greatest strengths is her knowledge about diamonds and gemstones. She loves to talk about beautiful gemstones and answer your questions about them. Pam is an active member of Circleville Church of Christ.

Joanne Stevens
Joanne was our top sales associate before her retirement a few years ago. Two years ago she came back to help us as a part time sales associate. Joanne is one of the hardest workers we have ever had in our company as well as being a top sales associate. She truly cares about everyone that her life touches. We are thrilled to have her back.

Megan Watson
Megan has just celebrated her one year anniversary here at EM Smith Jewelers. She started out working soley with our Pandora line and computer engraving, but has recently graduated into a full time sales associate, all while working toward her college degree. Megan's favorite thing about working at EM Smith Jewelers...all the sparkling jewelry!

Marilyn Ortman
Marilyn is quickly approaching her one year anniversary with us. She is a full time sales associate and one of the newest members of the E.M. Smith team. Marilyn graduated from Ohio State Barber Collage in 1979 and has worked 27 years as a hair stylist and barber. Marilyn has owned an operated her own business in Kingston for 10 years. She loves working with people and helping customers find exactly what they are looking for.
